Lil's approach to web design differs from that of many other webmasters. She sets sites up with ASP or PHP scripting so that the client can do their own updates quickly and easily without HTML.

Some webmasters, after charging you for setting up and designing your site, will also charge you each time you need updates done to your content. Moreover, you'll have to WAIT until the webmaster gets around to doing your updates! This may take months, and in the meantime, you may be losing business because of the folks who can't see what you are currently offering.

Some webmasters, although talented, may have a bit of a 'prima donna' thing going on... their work is beautiful, but they're challenging to communicate with. Lil tries hard to please her clients and makes an effort to listen to what you want.

Lil's internet experience includes MS SQL, MySQL, Access databases, Active Server Pages, PHP, CGI, digital graphics and image editing, video editing and display, animated gifs and Flash design.

She also manages the largest email community of Quarter Horse owners on the net and is a co-moderator of another that is the oldest.

Lil is an Art graduate of Kansas State University, where she worked as a student staff artist for three years in the Division of Continuing Education. She credits her boss from that time, Ernie Peck (now her father-in-law) with giving her a practical, real-world education in graphic design. He taught her how to produce audiovisual aids and she has applied that knowledge to web publishing.

Lil was one of the first horsemen to publish videos of horses for sale and stallions at service to the internet. She became quite an expert on web video and today, horse videos she has uploaded to Youtube and Google video are very popular.

Lil's friends who are also webmasters find her to be a useful source of "how-to" information.
